Overall, Dubai’s stable economy, strategic location, tax-free market, safe environment, modern legal system, high return on investment, world-class infrastructure, and commitment to development and innovation make it an attractive destination for investors looking to diversify their portfolios.

Setting up a business in the UAE provides you with numerous benefits. This includes 0% income taxes, 0% corporate taxes, a wide variety of business activities, large workforce, the absence of currency restrictions, and an easy setup process and legal procedures.

No, since 100% foreign ownership is now possible Free Zones and for onshore UAE-based businesses.Dubai is the first city in the world that allows remote investors to start and run businesses from abroad.
Dubai is famous for the record-breaking Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and the Palm, its vibrant culture, turbulent history, modern infrastructure, huge aquariums, and indoor ski slopes. Dubai is also known for its ultra-fast cars, driverless subway, scorching summer heat, and fantastic beaches.
The short answer is yes. Dubai is safe for westerners. Dubai is a Persian Gulf oasis that travelers ranked as one of the safest cities in the world in 2023: however, it’s also important for westerners to also be aware of local laws and customs.
The official language of Dubai is Arabic, though English is even more widely spoken. With the exception of some local Emiratis, who make up a small percentage of the total population, almost everyone living in or traveling to Dubai speaks at least passable English.
A mainland company is simply an onshore entity registered with the relevant emirate’s government body. The Emirate’s Department of Economic Development (DED) issues its trade license. The fundamental feature of a mainland company is that there are no restrictions on its commercial activities. However, you require a local sponsor or a UAE national to be a partner in the company for some business activities.
If you prefer to keep 100% ownership, the free zones are an excellent alternative to the mainland. The first free zone in the UAE opened in the 1980s, and they have grown in size and scope since then. Currently, there are over 45 free zones across the country. Each free zone is managed and administered by its own regulatory authority and functions under its own laws and regulations.
Dubai mainland is amongst the most preferable forms of business setup in Dubai because of the numerous benefits which are, Mainland Company in Dubai is exempted from corporate tax. There isno minimum capital requirement for the formation of Mainland Company. Mainland companies can trade with other mainland companies in Dubai or UAE. They have the flexibility to do their business in any part of UAE or beyond.
The requirements for setting up a business in Dubai Mainland vary depending on the type of business you want to establish. However, some general requirements include obtaining a trade license, registering with the Department of Economic Development (DED), and finding a local sponsor.
Dubai offers a tremendous quality of life not only for adults – the same is especially true for children. Dubai is an incredibly child-friendly country. There are countless (indoor) playgrounds. There is a play paradise in almost every mall. And the range of activities and courses is very diverse. In public places / malls there are breastfeeding rooms and often both the men’s and women’s toilets have a baby changing room. In restaurants there is usually a Kids Menu for about 5€ consisting of a main course, fruit, a dessert and a freshly squeezed juice. The private, international kindergartens in Dubai are relatively expensive. For 5 hours of care per day, you pay about 700€ per month. The international public schools are also relatively expensive. Depending on the school and the age of the child, you can expect to pay around 1000€ – 1900€ per month. It is customary to wear school uniforms and children must take Arabic as a minor subject. There is a 0% tolerance limit for bullying in schools. Health plays an important role in Dubai, so the Ministry of Education has introduced 7 forbidden foods that children are not allowed to bring to school (cola, chips, sweets…). The health system is extremely advanced and characterised by many international doctors. In addition, Dubai is a very safe country, which makes parents sleep better. Drugs and alcohol are difficult to access. It is also common to employ a nanny in Dubai. This makes everyday life with the children much easier.
There are no taxes in Dubai, neither corporate tax nor income tax or business tax. One exception is VAT, which is only 5%. In order to fully benefit from the tax exemption in Dubai, one must deregister one’s residence in Germany and adhere to the so-called 183-day rule, i.e. one may not stay in Germany for more than 183 days per year (6 months). However, individual tax saving models are also possible, which do not necessarily require emigration.
Dubai is an Islamic country, but you don’t notice much of that as an expat, as the expat population in Dubai is over 90%.
Dubai Mainland is a hub for a variety of industries, including finance, real estate, hospitality, and healthcare. However, the city is also open to new and innovative businesses, making it an attractive location for entrepreneurs across various industries.
Businesses in Dubai Mainland can access funding through a variety of sources, including banks, venture capitalists, and government programs such as the Mohammed Bin Rashid Fund for SMEs.
No personal income and capital taxes No corporate taxation 100% repatriation of capital and profits No currency restrictions Competitive import duties (5% with many exemptions). Abundant and inexpensive energy supply Simple staff recruitment procedures Competitive freight charges.
No, you are not required to be a resident or to live in the UAE if you own a Free Zone Company.
The Government of Dubai and UAE provides all kinds of support for establishing a company or investing in UAE, for example help with documentation, licenses and so on.
Dubai has an entirely different set of laws for foreign investors who are setting up their businesses in Dubai. Paperwork and legal requirements are minimal and procedures are fast tracked so that it is extremely easy to set up a company, licensing and registration. Moreover, Dubai has laws and rules for hiring employees and their benefits are protected.
Until recently, unmarried people in Dubai were only allowed to live together. However, since the end of 2020, it is now officially allowed and legal! It is also possible for the founder of a company to issue a visa to his or her partner through the company. In addition, marriage is no longer a prerequisite if there is a desire to have children. Since November 2021, unmarried expats are officially allowed to give birth in Dubai!
This is possible. The company formation can take place from Germany if you do it through a professional agency. Only the visa and the Emirates ID, if desired, require entry into the country. You can either enter the country with the tourist visa and make a so-called status change on the spot or you can enter directly with the e-visa, the so-called entry visa, applied for by us and save the costs for the status change. We recommend the cheaper version of the e-visa. As soon as we have applied for the e-visa for you, you must enter Dubai within the next 60 days, otherwise it will expire and you will incur additional costs.
